With 10 accurate body composition measurements, available through modern science, the TBF-300WA Plus allows you to educate your male student wrestlers on the Minimum Wrestling Weight (MWW) allowed while maintaining a healthy body fat percentage. The minimum percent body fat values used to calculate the male MWW are derived from the 1996 American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Position Stand “Weight Loss in Wrestlers”, that has been adopted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in their 1998 Weight Management Guidelines. Preset with both Collegiate and High School minimum body fat percentile standards gives you the ability use the same machine for any weight class of male wrestlers*.

The Wrestlers Mode was developed to provide a more accurate reading for athletic body types. Athletes tend to be physiologically different then standard adult body types, due to muscle mass and hydration level difference. These differences would skew the body fat reading as high, when taken in the standard adult mode.

 An athlete is someone who:

• Engages in intense physical activity for approximately 12 hours per week, or more
• Belongs to a sports team or a sport organization that competes 
• Is a professional athlete
• Is looking to increase muscle mass

Building on the success of its predecessor (the TBF-300WA) the new TBF-300WA plus provides an increased weight capacity on a new and improved large / low profile platform along with enhanced outputs of RS-232 and USB. The built-in printer will print the 10 accurate body composition measurements, making it easier for you to explain to your wrestlers. It delivers fast and accurate results, saving you time and helping to promote safe and optimal conditioning using the latest FDA cleared non-invasive bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) technology. And like all Tanita body composition monitors, the TBF-300WA Plus does not require any special and costly forms for printing, standard rolls of thermal paper keep your on-going cost of ownership low.
