The Tanita PH-740 is the next generation in acute care models. This handrail model incorporates state-of-the-art technology within the most user-friendly package in the industry. With a capacity of 1,000 lb (450 kg), this model can accommodate every clinical need. Its extra-wide, low-profile platform make it perfectly suited for patients that have trouble stepping up and onto traditional physician scales. The built-in height rod and automatic BMI calculator are real time savers.

Castors on the base of the PH-740 platform allow it to be moved with ease. It also features a mechanical height rod, allowing patients height to be taken along with weight. Requiring no tools for assembly, the modular design makes for simple on-site assembly and service, should you ever need it.

EMR ready with both an RS-232 and USB output. When used with Tanita Health Ware® Software(sold separately) data from the PH-740 can be stored on PC to provide custom recording, tracking, and analysis for an unlimited number of users.
