The DC-430U incorporates the very latest in bioelectric impedance technology from the industry leader Tanita. Multi-Frequency testing provides an additional level of accuracy to the 15 full body composition analysis. The DC-430U includes all the great features of many earlier models including calculations for fat, muscle, bone, and water mass. Along with visceral fat, BMR, and a unique metabolic age assessment. The versatility of the DC-430U allows it to be used for many applications. The DC-430U includes an exclusive kid’s body fat analysis and judgment mode as well as a mode for high school and collegiate wrestlers that will predetermine minimum wrestling weight. The Wrestling Mode was developed to provide a more accurate reading for athletic body types. Athletes tend to be physiologically different then standard adult body types, due to muscle mass and hydration level difference. These differences would skew the body fat reading as high, when taken in the standard adult mode. 

An athlete is someone who:

• Engages in intense physical activity for approximately 12 hours per week, or more
• Belongs to a sports team or a sport organization that competes 
• Is a professional athlete
• Is looking to increase muscle mass

Using the USB Cable (Type A-Type B)  (sold separate) users are able to program the DC-430U remotely as well as output the data for EMR applications. When paired with Tanita Health Ware® Software (sold separate),  users are given the ability to scrutinize and graph the data, dissecting and contrasting body composition measurements to reveal genuine health and fitness levels.(Comes packaged with an AC adapter 7V)
